Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.

Hours are published for 6 days a week. On most of those days it is open 11 am–9 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (315) 458-9380. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, tossnfirepizza.com.

We were just passing through Syracuse today and looking for a good pizza when we happened upon Toss and Fire, we drove about 25 minutes out the way and it was totally worth it. McKenna was our server, she was polite, quick and professional. We opted to sit outside and enjoy the nice weather, there were lots of seats available. It quickly got busy and McKenna was able to maintain all her tables. We ordered a bacon chicken ranch pizza and Detroit style meatball pizza in an addition to the garlic bites as an app. The garlic bites were sooooo good and the accompanying marina was great. The pizzas were delicious as well, crisp, just enough toppings, really good crust. Prices were as expected for a wood fire pizza restaurant. If I find myself back in Syracuse I will definitely being stopping in again!

I enjoyed the food here and honestly, I wish I was here longer so that I try the pizza. I mean If the appetizers were this good, then the pizza must be phenomenal. That will be on my to-do list. I was torn on what to eat on a Friday night and I’m glad I came to this decision. When alone I cannot eat a lot, so what I did get to try was their garlic knots and chicken wings. I had to push myself, but I almost did finish it all, it was quite filling. The knots come in three and are huge and made with their signature butter, yum. Their wings were good, thick and the sauce, let me tell you. Cheeky Monkey Spicy Tomato Oil is the sauce I got for the wings and the wings alone, good subtle taste, not overwhelming, not at all super spicy, but what got me, was also dipping those knots into the wing sauce. One of the staff members there also suggested this to me and said she does it regularly and I know why, it’s delicious. The parking lot here isn’t super big, but I was able to find parking, and it was almost an hour before closing time, so dinner was dying out. The restaurant isn’t super huge, but it’s clean, modern, and smells great. I’m on my way to give this joint 5 stars, but I must try t

The pizza here is great. Great little pizza joint. 12 various beers and ciders on tap. We got two wood fired pizzas to go and had a drink while we waited. Its a quiet place if your looking for some great food and not the buzz of a big busy restaurant this is the place.

Absolutely phenomenal pizza - some of the best I’ve had in my entire life! We ordered a classic Meatlovers pizza which was loaded with meat and delicious cheese and had a wonderfully crispy bottom without being burnt. We also tried a pizza with sun-dried tomatoes, Italian cured meats, pecorino cheese, and a hot honey drizzle and WOAH. I was absolutely in love. Absolutely out of this world 1000/10 delicious. The rest of the menu looked delicious as well, we just didn’t get to try it. The atmosphere was fairly laid back an enjoyable, and the service was very fast. I would definitely recommend a stop if you’re in Syracuse!

Wow what an experience every time I come here. I visit from Georgia every year and this place NEVER disappoints. The pizza is the best you can get. The staff is extremely polite and happy. The food coming out from Oder to table is extremely quick. There’s nothing to fault about this place. I’ve been coming to this exact spot for over 4 years and will continue to. If you’re looking for the best pizza around this spot is it. The prices are a bit steep but so worth the price for the authenticity and genuine quality flavors from all the different pies. Absolutely sensational!!!!
